Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced cardiac catheterization lab nurse or technologist for a 12-week travel assignment. You'll work in a busy interventional lab performing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Schedule

• Shift: Day, 4×10 hours (7:00 AM–5:30 PM)
• Rotation: Five weeks at 4/10 hours, one week at 5/8 hours (8:00 AM–4:30 PM), then back to 4/10s. You'll earn a 4-day weekend every 6 weeks.
• Call: 12–14 days per 6-week period; 1–2 weekends per 6-week period. Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility.
• Float: Within the facility and your scope of practice as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure (GA or Compact state) or ARRT R certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience; first-time travelers welcome
• ACLS, BLS certifications required
• Community hospital or cardiac catheterization experience strongly preferred
• CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, or CVT certifications also accepted

Clinical Scope

You'll participate in:

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), angioplasty, and stent placement
• Carotid stenting and renal artery interventions
• Pacemaker and AICD insertions
• Hemodynamic monitoring and vascular access management
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients with daily census of 4–12

Requirements

• Full compliance documentation due before start
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed per contract
• Ready to begin within 7 days of offer acceptance
