Emergency Department RN | Night Shift | Knoxville, TN

13-Week Contract | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week

This opportunity is in a high-acuity Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population in Knoxville, Tennessee. The unit operates at a fast pace and requires clinicians who are comfortable managing a broad range of emergency presentations with confidence and efficiency.

Shift Details

• Nights: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Block scheduling considered

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Prior emergency department charting experience required for RN positions
• CEN preferred, but not required
• Active Tennessee RN license or multistate compact license required at time of submission — pending licenses not accepted
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS

• Floating within scope possible to meet unit needs
• On-call not required
• Local candidates accepted
• Two references required (may be pending at submission)
• Orientation includes non-billable online modules (typically 2–4 hours)
• RTO requests considered if presented at time of interview
