Respiratory Therapist — Travel Contract | Greenville, SC

Day Shift | 3x12-Hour (07:00–19:30) | 13-Week Contract

This opportunity places an experienced Respiratory Therapist in an active adult respiratory care setting serving adult and geriatric patients across critical care, general, and specialty units. Float to other units or campuses may be required based on census needs; floats are limited to areas matching your documented competencies.

Shift & Scheduling

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required; schedule subject to change
• Time-off requests must be submitted at time of application

Clinical Scope

• Full adult respiratory modalities including ventilator management, patient transport, and bedside treatments
• Extubation, nasal/oral airway placement, suctioning, tracheostomy care, and pulmonary hygiene
• Aerosol medication delivery via mask, trach collar, metered dose inhaler, T-piece, hand-held, and Medihaler setups
• Inhaled medications including albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Pulmicort, racemic epinephrine, Xopenex, Tobramycin, and others
• High-flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, CPAP, ABG interpretation, mechanical ventilation weaning, and high-pressure alarm troubleshooting
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with Respiratory Services and Rapid Response Teams

Requirements

• Active RRT license — South Carolina (must be in hand; no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of adult critical care experience
• High-acuity trauma experience required
• ACLS and BLS required
• Minimum 1 year of electronic health record experience required
• First-time travelers welcome
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
