Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) RN — Greenville, SC

13-Week Contract | 4×10 Days | 06:00–16:30

This travel RN role is in a high-volume cardiovascular operating room managing an average of three cardiac cases per day. The unit serves adult and geriatric patients across a broad range of open-heart and vascular procedures.

Clinical Scope

Candidates should have demonstrated proficiency in:

• Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), mitral valve replacement, TAVR, MAZE procedure, aortic aneurysm repair, PDA, atrial septal defect repair, cardiomyoplasty, pericardial window, atherectomy, and femoral cannulation
• Cell saver, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), laser safety, and radiation safety
• Scrub role in cardiovascular surgery, specimen handling/labeling, universal protocol/time-out procedure, and mesh measuring

Schedule & Call

• 4×10-hour day shifts; overtime may occur each week
• Minimum of two call days per week; 1–2 call weekends every 6-week schedule
• Minimum of 5 weekend shifts per contract
• Facility may call off one shift per two-week period

Requirements

• Active South Carolina RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience; travel experience required
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, CNOR
• Minimum 1 year of recent electronic health record experience required
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions | COVID-19 vaccine not required

Floating

Agency staff may be asked to float to other units or campuses based on census needs. Float assignments are limited to areas where competencies have been verified.

Additional Notes

• Pre-assignment modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials; up to 16 hours of module time is reimbursable
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• Local candidates (within 100 miles) are accepted at a reduced rate
