Interventional Radiology Technologist – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the team in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment. You'll support high-acuity interventional cases across orthopedic, neuro, and trauma specialties.

Schedule & Commitment

• Shift: Day, 4 × 10-hour (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Days Off: Rotating
• On-Call: Every third weekend plus one weekday per month (approximately 8 days/month)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start: Mondays (orientation begins with online modules)

Required Experience & Skills

• Extensive C-arm experience in orthopedic and neuro interventional cases
• Neuro interventional expertise: stroke thrombectomy and embolization procedures
• PE thrombectomy/lysis experience
• Trauma bleed embolization skills
• AHA BLS certification required

Residency Requirement

Permanent residence must be 100 miles or greater from the facility's service area.

Orientation & Compliance

• 16 hours of non-billable orientation (included in onboarding)
• Relias EKG testing required within 72 hours of signing (two attempts allowed)
• Drug screening 12–14 calendar days prior to start
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed for fit testing per CDC guidelines
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions available)

Scheduling Flexibility

The facility may adjust shifts biweekly based on census needs without financial penalty. Additional shifts picked up above your commitment are available as overtime.
