Occupational Therapist (OTR) – Outpatient Orthopedic Hand/Wrist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its outpatient orthopedic clinic, specializing in post-operative hand and wrist rehabilitation. This is an immediate-need position ideal for a clinician with strong orthotic fabrication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Schedule & Duration
- Shift: Monday–Thursday, 8:40 AM–4:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Schedule flexibility is open to discussion
Required Experience & Credentials
- Minimum 1 year of experience in outpatient orthopedic post-operative hand/wrist rehabilitation
- Expertise in dynamic and static custom orthosis fabrication
- Current, active state or compact license
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential preferred
- Two professional references (supervisor-level, within 2 years)
- Current Nursys report (pulled within 7 days of submission)
Clinical Scope
You'll deliver comprehensive rehabilitation care for post-operative orthopedic patients, focusing on hand and wrist function restoration. Your work will include patient assessment, therapeutic exercise programming, and individualized orthotic design and fabrication. You'll collaborate with the interdisciplinary orthopedic team to optimize patient outcomes.
