MedSurg Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Charleston, WV | 13-Week Contract
This night shift travel RN role places you on a medical-surgical telemetry unit managing cardiac, vascular, surgical, and pulmonary patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring. The position is a strong fit for nurses comfortable with a mixed-acuity, high-variety patient population.
Schedule
- 3×12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekdays plus every other weekend required
- 36 hours guaranteed per week
- Orientation held every other Thursday
- Float within scope possible; blocked schedule requests cannot be guaranteed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1 year MedSurg Telemetry experience
- WV or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted for submission)
- BLS/BCLS and ACLS — both must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- First-time travelers considered if experience requirements are met
Additional Details
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions with documented allergist or physician record only); required October 1 – March 31
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Permanent address must be 100+ miles from the facility (75–99 miles considered case-by-case)
- Former permanent employees of the facility must wait 2 years before returning as a traveler
- Free parking on site

Candidates must supply a minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years at time of submission.
