Mammography Technologist – Travel Assignment

Assignment Overview

The facility's Diagnostic Imaging department is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel contract assignment running November 17, 2026 through February 26, 2027.

Schedule & Hours

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week (excluding holiday closures)
• No call required
• Department closes on designated holidays; hours adjust accordingly during holiday weeks

Clinical Scope

You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations using established protocols, ensuring accurate patient positioning and high-quality imaging. You'll also cross-train in bone density (DEXA) imaging. Work collaboratively with radiologists and the Diagnostic Imaging team to maintain patient safety, regulatory compliance, and thorough documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification (mammography)
• MQSA compliance
• Demonstrated mammography competency
• Current BLS, if required by facility credentialing

Preferred Experience

• 3D mammography system experience
• Mammography QC/QA and FDA/ACR documentation knowledge
• Previous travel or rural hospital assignments
• DEXA or bone density imaging background
