Labor and Delivery Nurse
About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll work nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with 36 scheduled hours per week and a 24-hour minimum guarantee. Hospital-issued scrubs are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assessment (preferred)
- Provide couplet care for mothers and babies postpartum
- Circulate obstetric OR cases
- Assist with baby admits and deliveries (preferred)
- Manage weekend, holiday, float, and on-call assignments per department guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of Labor and Delivery experience with activity in the past 12 months
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AFM certifications (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
- Clean state license (Colorado) with no practice restrictions
- Valid driver's license
- Multi-specialty capability and flexibility with assignments
Travel experience is preferred.
Contract Details
- Start Date: October 19, 2026 (or within one week)
- Location: Regional assignment with potential float to other facilities
- Return to Origin (RTO): Maximum 7 days; none during first week of assignment
