Pre/Post-Op Nurse — Same Day Surgery | Dublin, GA

Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 07:30–18:00 (4x10 Days) | Start: October 12, 2026

This Same Day Surgery unit provides pre-operative and post-operative care for a diverse surgical patient population, including pediatric and neuro cases. The role is not an OR Circulator position — candidates must have direct Pre-op and Post-op experience to be considered.

Unit & Clinical Scope

• Pre-op assessment, patient preparation, and post-anesthesia recovery
• Procedures include IV starts, basic IV infusions, Foley catheterization, and EKG
• Floats within Surgical Services as needed
• On-call requirements per facility policy
• Pediatric and Neuro Post-Operative competency training completed on-site

Schedule

• Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff employees
• 40 guaranteed hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Pre-op and Post-op experience
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Familiarity with bladder scanner, vein finder, and EKG equipment

Dress Code

• Ceil blue scrub top and bottom
