Pre/Post Operative Nurse — Same Day Surgery | Dublin, GA

Contract: 13 weeks | Start Date: September 21, 2026

Shift: 07:30–18:00 | 4 x 10-hour days

About the Role

This is a pre/post-operative position — not an OR Circulator role. The unit provides care across the full perioperative spectrum in a Same Day Surgery setting, supporting a range of surgical patients including pediatric and neuro post-operative cases.

Unit Details

• Pre-op and post-op experience required (1+ year minimum)
• Pediatric and neuro post-operative competencies will be completed during on-site orientation
• Float within Surgical Services as needed

Clinical Scope

• IV insertion and basic IV infusion administration
• Foley catheter insertion
• EKG performance and interpretation
• Bladder scanning

Schedule

• Every other weekend rotation with facility staff
• Holiday rotation required
• On-call expectations apply per scheduling needs

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS

Dress Code

• Ceil blue scrub top and bottom

Patient Experience

• AIDET communication standards required
