Cath Lab / IR RN — Interventional Services

Orange, CA | 4x10 Days (06:30–17:00) | 16-Week Contract

This Magnet-recognized acute care facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN or IR RN to join its interventional team. Shifts run Monday through Friday, with an on-call commitment of approximately 7 days per month (one weekend per month, Friday–Sunday PM, plus one weekday per week).

Clinical Scope

The lab supports a broad range of adult and geriatric patients across both cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology services. Procedures include:

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, PCI, TAVR, Watchman, and valvuloplasty
• EP lab procedures and pacemaker/defibrillator lead management
• Carotid, cerebral, and peripheral angiography; stenting and embolization
• Neuro and vascular IR cases (required for IR candidates)
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Sheath removal, hemostasis management, and IABP/Impella support

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or IR lab experience (multi-room lab experience required)
• IR RNs must have neuro and vascular experience
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES or CCI RCIS, NIHSS
• Electronic health record experience strongly preferred; required for IR RNs
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• First-time travelers considered with qualifying experience

• Floating to nearby sister facilities may be required
• All RTO must be submitted at time of candidacy; holiday coverage commitment required
• Orientation: approximately 20 hours
