Cath Lab RN – 12-Month Position
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 12-month permanent assignment. You'll work day shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), Monday through Friday, in a busy interventional cardiology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub procedural cases
- Monitor patients during catheterization procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation (details discussed at interview)
Required Qualifications
- 1 year combined permanent experience in the Cath Lab specialty
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications (in hand at time of submission)
- Active Ohio or Compact RN license
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director (from work within the past 12 months; co-worker references not accepted)
Facility Requirements
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Background check review; no open cases accepted
- No license hits accepted
- Drug screening and annual competency modules required
- BCI/FBI background check must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
Contract Details
- Duration: 12 months
- Guaranteed hours included
- Extensions available up to 18 months; 6-month break required thereafter
- Annual hands-on competency requirement for continuous employees
