Medical ICU Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical ICU nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll provide direct care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced medical intensive care setting.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (nights)
- Schedule: 4 days per week, 12-hour shifts
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
- Start Date: October 25, 2026
Clinical Scope
The Medical ICU manages high-acuity patients requiring close monitoring and intensive interventions. You'll work alongside an experienced team, utilizing standard clinical protocols and documentation systems to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification through Nursys required)
- Two professional references
- Current immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza)
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit testing and health statement
- Criminal background check clearance
- ACLS certification
- Willingness to complete facility-specific competency exams and orientation checklists upon hire
