Cath Lab RN – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility's Cath Lab is a comprehensive interventional center performing cardiac and peripheral procedures. You'll work alongside cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and a general surgeon in a dynamic procedural environment.
Clinical Scope
Procedures include left and right heart catheterization, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid diagnostic and intervention, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacemaker insertion, tilt table testing, kyphoplasty, and AV graft work. You'll monitor patients using advanced diagnostic and interventional devices and support LEXISCAN stress testing.
Schedule
- Days: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
- On Call: 7 days per month (non-consecutive)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Assist with pre- and post-procedure care
- Transport patients and support team as needed
- Maintain proficiency with Cath Lab equipment and monitoring systems
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Oklahoma State License (or current compact license)
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
- NIH certification
Preferred
- Recent travel nursing experience
