Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced cath lab nurse for a 91-week contract assignment. You'll work four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a rotating day off and 10–12 days of call per month (including weekends).
Responsibilities
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- During downtime, float to the emergency department as a sitter or assist med-surg floors with patient care
- Maintain accurate charting and clinical documentation
Requirements
- Current RN license (submission required; agency will wait for licensure)
- ACLS and BLS (AHA) certification
- BSN not required
Details
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week block (3 shifts for shorter assignments)
- Acute care setting
