Urology Procedural Nurse
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced urology procedural nurse to support providers in a fast-paced surgical environment. You'll assist with a variety of urologic procedures and provide direct patient care in a dynamic clinical setting.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Assist providers with prostate biopsies, cystoscopies, and vasectomies
- Insert and manage Foley catheters
- Establish and maintain sterile fields
- Provide procedural patient care and support
- Work efficiently in a high-volume environment
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (AM shifts)
- Hours: 5 × 8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Location: Atlanta, GA
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia)
- Proven experience in urology or surgical procedural nursing
- Strong technical skills in sterile technique and catheterization
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
- Professional demeanor and attention to detail
