Outpatient IV Therapy — Oncology

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced IV therapy specialist for its outpatient oncology program. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, managing venous access and infusion therapies for oncology patients.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Insert and maintain peripheral and central venous access devices
• Place PICC lines and manage central line care
• Administer IV therapies and infusions
• Monitor patients for complications and adverse reactions
• Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure safe, timely treatment delivery

Schedule & Contract

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Guaranteed hours

Requirements

• Current RN license (state-specific)
• PICC line insertion certification or willingness to obtain
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Demonstrated competency in central line management and venous access placement
