Med/Surg Tele RN – 13-Week Contract
The Opportunity
The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll care for patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing a range of acute care patients.
Shift & Schedule
- Rotating 3x12-hour shifts: Days (07:00–19:30) and nights (19:00–07:30)
- Shifts may rotate to meet operational needs; the facility will honor your preference when possible
- Mandatory holiday coverage: at least every other holiday
- Potential float to other units caring for similar patient populations
Requirements
- Current, active RN license: Ohio or compact state (required at time of submission)
- 12 months permanent experience in Med/Surg or Tele specialty
- Active certifications (required in hand):
- BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- One professional reference (manager, supervisor, or director) from past 12 months; peer references not accepted
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
Orientation & Assessments
During orientation, you'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment. Both require an acceptable score to continue; you have two attempts maximum.
