Radiation Therapist — Oncology Center | Santa Rosa, CA
A travel Radiation Therapist is needed at an outpatient oncology center in Santa Rosa, California. This is a day-shift position with an ASAP start and a 91-week contract.
Schedule & Hours
- Days: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- No on-call required
Clinical Scope
The position involves treating approximately 25 patients per day across a range of radiation therapy modalities. Clinical responsibilities include:
- External beam therapy and IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy)
- CBCT/kV/mV imaging
- Tumor localization
- Custom molds and shield fabrication
- Block cutting, compensation filters, wedges, and portal casts
- Radiation dose calculation and radiation safety protocols
- Patient population: young adult through older adult
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience
- Active California state license (required at time of submission)
- BLS, ARRT, and ARRT (T) certifications
- Proficiency with ARIA treatment management software
- Experience with Varian linear accelerator equipment
- Familiarity with Pinnacle and/or Eclipse treatment planning systems

- Travelers may be asked to float to nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may impact guaranteed hours and contract status
