Radiation Therapist – Oncology Center | Santa Rosa, CA
A travel Radiation Therapist is needed at an outpatient oncology center in Santa Rosa, California. This is a day-shift role with an ASAP start, offering 40 guaranteed hours per week.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: Days, 5×8 hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Contract: 13 weeks
- On-call: Not required
- Daily caseload: approximately 25 patients per day
Clinical Scope
You will deliver external beam radiation therapy, including IMRT, while managing CT simulation and tumor localization. Procedures include CBCT/kV/mV imaging, custom mold and shield fabrication, block cutting, B-mode acquisition and targeting, compensation filters, portal casting, and dose calculation. Patient population spans young adult through older adult.
Float Requirements
Travelers may be asked to float to nearby sister facilities. Refusal to float may impact guaranteed hours.
Required Qualifications
- California state license (required at time of submission)
- ARRT and ARRT (T) – Radiation Therapy
- BLS
- Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience
- Proficiency with Varian linear accelerator and ARIA treatment management software
- CT simulation experience required

- Holidays: Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront at time of application
- 2 professional references required, covering at least 1 year within the past 3 years
