Radiologic Technologist – Travel Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care setting. You'll work the mid shift (1:00 PM – 9:00 PM), 5 days per week, with every-other-weekend coverage required.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (5x8-hour blocks)
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (2 shifts per contract)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Orientation: 16 hours

Required Credentials & Experience

• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of radiologic technology experience
• Community hospital experience required
• Travel experience required
• Charge experience preferred

Clinical Scope

You'll perform a broad range of imaging procedures including:

• Portable chest and abdominal radiography
• Bedside/ICU procedures
• Emergency Department imaging
• C-Arm and OR procedures
• Pediatric, neonatal, and adult acute care imaging
• Trauma imaging (upper and lower extremity, chest)
• Upper GI, barium studies, and contrast procedures
• ERCP and fluoroscopy-guided procedures
• Radiation safety and infection prevention protocols

Unit Details

• Daily census: 258 patients
• Multiple specialty areas including Emergency Department, OR, ICU, and PICU
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Free parking

Important Notes

• You may be asked to float to nearby sister facilities; flexibility is required
• Two professional references (covering 1 year within the last 3 years) required before start
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
