Outpatient Rehabilitation

The facility is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an 8-hour outpatient shift in a busy orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation setting.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Contract: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  • License Required: Yes
  • Certifications Required: BLS

Clinical Scope

You'll work in an outpatient setting treating approximately 8–16 patients per day, depending on the mix of evaluations and follow-up treatments. The patient population is 80% orthopedic and 20% neurological. Treatment sessions are structured and scheduled on the hour, with each patient seen for one-hour blocks.

  • Orthopedic patients: Follow standard treatment protocols
  • Neurological patients (high-acuity): Require one-on-one care and individualized treatment plans
  • Evaluations: Limited to a maximum of 3 per day

Cancellation Policy

The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts within the 13-week assignment period.

This is a stable outpatient role ideal for a PTA who enjoys a structured schedule and consistent patient relationships in a mixed orthopedic and neurological population.
