CT Technologist – Nights
About the Role
The facility seeks a CT Technologist for night shifts. You will perform diagnostic CT examinations, assist physicians with invasive CT procedures, and maintain the highest standards of radiation safety and image quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and document diagnostic CT examinations per physician orders
- Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction or per protocol
- Operate all CT equipment and facility-based computer systems
- Analyze examinations for quality control; prepare completed studies for radiologist interpretation
- Assist physicians with specialized CT-guided procedures
- Transport, move, and position patients safely
- Communicate handoff and continuity of care to the next caregiver
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved school
- Current ARRT registration in radiography and CT
- Current Ohio state licensure
- Current CPR and When Seconds Count certification
- Minimum two years' experience in a diagnostic imaging setting (preferred)
- Ability to occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force and lift/move objects including patients
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour nights per week
- Weekends: Every third weekend
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
