Medical/Surgical RN – Night Shift | Nyack, NY

13-Week Contract | 12-Hour Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

This Med/Surg travel opportunity is located in Nyack, NY and welcomes both travelers and local placements. The facility operates multiple Med/Surg units serving a diverse acute-care patient population, including patients requiring ventilator management, orthopedic care, and general medical/surgical diagnoses.

Shift & Scheduling

• 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekends and holidays required
• No on-call or standby requirement
• Floating within Med/Surg units may be required

Patient Population & Acuity

• General Med/Surg, orthopedic, and ventilated patients
• PCA Techs available on the unit for support

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
• Active New York RN license
• BLS certification
• COVID vaccination
• BSN not required

Orientation & Dress Code

• 2-day unit-specific orientation provided
• Navy blue scrubs
