CT Technologist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the imaging department. You will perform CT procedures independently and collaboratively under radiologist direction, working the night shift (7 PM–7 AM) in a fast-paced environment.
Clinical Scope
You'll acquire and process a variety of imaging studies, including:
- Interventional CT cases
- CT angiography
- Advanced 3D reconstructions
You'll administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast; review completed exams for quality prior to radiologist interpretation; and assist radiologists during interventional procedures. Patient positioning, anatomy identification, and pathology recognition are core to daily work. You'll maintain strict adherence to ALARA radiation safety principles for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily workload across inpatient, emergency, and outpatient schedules
- Obtain patient history and confirm medical necessity before imaging
- Complete accurate documentation and maintain PACS workflows
- Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting; stock supplies and maintain a clean workspace
- Support 24/7 department coverage as needed
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
- Complete mandatory competencies and continuing education
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification (ARRT CT Registry preferred)
- New Hampshire Imaging License
- BLS Certification
- CT scan experience required
- Ability to lift/carry frequently up to 35 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Physical and mental stamina for shift work
Position Details
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night (7 PM–7 AM)
- Hours: 36 per week
- Call/Weekend: Minimal holidays; backup call required
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Note: Up to 16 hours of initial orientation is unpaid; the facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract period.
