Operating Room Nurse – 13-Week Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced OR nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work in a busy surgical environment supporting robotics, spine, total joint, and general surgical cases.
Schedule & Call
- Shift: 4 × 10-hour days per week (40 hours/week)
- Call: Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required (approximately 1–2 call days per month)
Requirements
- Current BLS certification
- Active Georgia or Compact License
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Demonstrated experience in robotics, spine, total joint, and general surgery
- Travel experience preferred
What You'll Do
You'll assist in a range of surgical procedures, collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams, ensure patient safety and infection control, and manage surgical instrumentation and equipment. The role requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment.
