Med/Surg/Tele RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Med/Surg/Tele RN for a 16-week assignment on a complex care unit. You'll work nights (7 PM–7 AM) on a rotating 12-hour schedule with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.
Unit & Schedule
- Med/Surg/Tele unit caring for acute and telemetry patients
- Night shift rotation (7 PM–7 AM / 7 AM–7 PM rotation available)
- 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
- Flexible scheduling and block booking may be requested based on facility needs
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to acute and telemetry populations
- Willing to work charge nurse role (training provided if needed)
- Float to other units as needed to support facility operations
- Adapt to scheduling needs while maintaining high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 2 years acute hospital experience with 1 recent year in med/surg or telemetry
- 2 years of U.S. work history required for international candidates
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
