ICU/CCU Travel RN — Bowling Green, KY
Night Shift | 13-Week Contract
This ICU/CCU position offers a night shift schedule (19:00–07:00) with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 13-week contract, starting July 20, 2026.
The Unit
The facility's combined ICU/CCU cares for high-acuity medical and cardiac patients. The team operates in a collaborative environment that values critical thinking and self-motivation, with a mix of experienced day and night staff. Scheduling flexibility is a hallmark of this unit.
Clinical Scope
- Bedside procedures include central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
- Advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Management of patients on mechanical circulatory support and temperature regulation devices
- Float in rotation with core staffing
Required Certifications & Skills
- BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (required)
- PALS (required)
- Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to work independently
- Experience with central line and dialysis catheter insertions strongly preferred
Scheduling
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week (guaranteed)
- Float policy: rotation with core staff
Dress Code
Scrubs in any color are welcome — no denim, capris, or camouflage.
