Women's Health / OB-GYN Clinic — Registered Nurse

Oakland, CA | Days (8:30–17:00, Mon–Fri) | 13-Week Contract

A busy ambulatory Women's Health and OB-GYN clinic is seeking an experienced RN with a strong background in Labor & Delivery and high-risk obstetrics. This is a fast-paced outpatient setting caring for high-risk pregnant patients across adolescent, adult, and some pediatric populations.

Clinical Scope

• Manage up to three NST patients simultaneously; proficiency in NST/DVP is essential
• OB intake and , pregnancy assessment clinics, and telephone
• Procedure clinic support including moderate (IV and oral) sedation
• In-basket management, patient follow-up calls, and care coordination
• Skills utilized: pelvic exams, blood glucose monitoring, venipuncture, specimen labeling, immunizations, medication reconciliation, and interpretation of lab and imaging results
• Conditions managed include high-risk pregnancy, pregnancy-induced hypertension, placenta previa/abruption, ectopic pregnancy, and spontaneous abortion

Requirements

• Active California RN license (required at submission)
• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience; strong L&D background required
• ACLS, BLS, NRP
• AWHONN Basic or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• BSN preferred
• Onsite DVP ultrasound training completed on start date (candidate-funded)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility

• Monday–Friday, days only; no nights, no weekends, no call
