Registered Dietitian – Behavioral Health Day Treatment

Greenville, SC | 13-Week Contract | Day Shift

This position supports a specialized behavioral health Day Treatment program serving a diverse outpatient population across PHP (Partial Hospitalization) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient) levels of care.

Shift: Days, 5×8 hours (08:00–16:30)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Patient Population & Clinical Scope

The unit serves adolescents, adults, older adults, and postpartum patients. Diagnoses include:

• Eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, ARFID, OSFED)
• Mood and depressive disorders, anxiety, bipolar disorder
• Trauma-related disorders, OCD
• Substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide meal support and nutrition education
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to coordinate patient care

Requirements

• Active RD or RDN credential required
• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health dietitian experience
• Experience with adolescent and adult outpatient/clinic settings
• Familiarity with therapeutic diet orders, calorie counts, and appetite stimulant protocols preferred
• Floating to other areas may be required based on census needs

Scheduling

• Day shift only; no weekend shifts per contract
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Pre-assignment modules required within 48 hours of contract start; up to 16 hours are reimbursable

First-time travelers will be considered based on relevant clinical experience.
