Telemetry RN | Independence, Missouri | 13-Week Contract

This Telemetry position is based in a fast-paced, acuity-driven unit that manages a diverse cardiac and progressive care patient population. The unit operates as a Designated Education Unit and features up-to-date cardiac monitoring with bedside rhythm visualization in every room.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation
• Rotating holiday schedule
• Float requirement to Med/Surg units (rotation-based for full-time staff)

Clinical Scope

• Management of vasoactive drips
• Central line and PICC line placement/monitoring
• Non-invasive respiratory support (BiPAP, heated high-flow nasal cannula)
• Enteral nutrition management
• Advanced cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS

Additional Requirements

• Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience managing vasoactive drips
• Team-oriented, positive attitude

Patient Experience Standards

• Bedside shift report
• Hourly rounding
• Daily leadership rounds

Dress Code

• Charcoal grey scrub tops with charcoal grey or black bottoms
• Black or charcoal grey jackets (unit-specific jackets available)
