Cardiac Telemetry RN — Independence, Missouri

Day Shift | 13-Week Contract | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed

This fast-paced Cardiac Telemetry unit is seeking an experienced RN with strong cardiac skills and a collaborative, high-energy approach to patient care.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (Saturday & Sunday for days)

Clinical Scope

The unit manages a high-acuity cardiac population including:

• Post-cardiac catheterization recovery (no sheath removal)
• Pacemaker placement patients
• Stroke patients
• Continuous drip management (amiodarone, Cardizem)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) experience is preferred and will be prioritized during selection.

Required Certifications & Skills

• Active ACLS certification
• Demonstrated experience with post-cath patients and cardiac drip management

Float Requirements

Travelers may float to other telemetry departments, medical-surgical, or PCU as needed.

• Guaranteed hours: 36/week
• Contract length: 91 weeks (approximately 13 weeks per rotation — confirm with recruiter)
• Start date: September 28, 2026
