Cardiac Telemetry RN — Independence, Missouri

This 13-week travel contract places you on a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit, caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and intervention. The unit manages a high-acuity patient population including post-cardiac catheterization recovery, pacemaker placement, stroke patients, and those on vasoactive and antiarrhythmic drip therapies (amiodarone, Cardizem).

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (Days: Saturday/Sunday; Nights: Friday/Saturday)

Clinical Requirements

• Active ACLS certification required
• Experience recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal) is mandatory
• Experience with pacemaker patients, stroke care, and vasoactive drip management required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) experience preferred

Float Expectations

Travelers may float to other telemetry departments, med-surg, or PCU as needed.

Dress Code

Grey scrubs for RNs.
