Labor & Delivery (LDRP) — Travel RN | Night Shift | Martin, TN

This 13-week night shift contract covers a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit providing comprehensive obstetric and newborn care. Float coverage to Antepartum, NICU, and Postpartum/Nursery may be required.

Schedule

• 3x12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required

Clinical Scope

Nurses on this unit manage the full continuum of obstetric and neonatal care, including:

• Labor support, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and high-risk antepartum care
• Fetal monitoring (external and internal), IUPC placement, and spiral electrode placement
• Magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, and management of pregnancy-induced hypertension
• Postpartum hemorrhage recognition and response
• Newborn assessment, phototherapy, thermoregulation, and neonatal hypoglycemia management
• Couplet care, breastfeeding/lactation support, and parent education
• of obstetric patients

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience
• Active RN license (compact or TN)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, NRP
• Electronic health record experience within the last 18 months — must be clearly documented on your profile; a competency exam is required (one attempt only)
• Two supervisory references required at submission
• All certifications must be active and in hand at submission

• Orientation: 12 hours

• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered); flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• All requested time off must be disclosed at submission; no additional RTO will be approved post-submission
