Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract in Cleveland, OH. You'll provide care to med-surg telemetry patients in a fast-paced stepdown environment with potential to float to other units as needed.
Shift & Schedule
- 3x12-hour rotating shifts: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) or Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Shift rotation based on operational needs
- Must work at least every other holiday
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to med-surg telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to clinical changes
- Float to other units to support same patient population as needed
- Complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
Required Qualifications
- 12 months permanent RN experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
- Current Ohio permanent RN license or active compact state license
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director (from past 12 months)
- Clear background check (no open cases or license hits)
- Negative drug screen
What to Expect
During orientation, you'll complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments. You must achieve an acceptable score on both (maximum 2 attempts).
The facility requires COVID-19 and flu vaccinations; medical and religious exemptions are considered.

- Background clearance and fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
