Medical-Surgical Telemetry – 12-Hour Night Shift
Join the facility's medical-surgical telemetry unit for a 13-week contract beginning November 30, working 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
The Role
You'll provide direct patient care on a busy med-surg tele unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing post-operative and acute medical patients, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. This is a fast-paced environment where strong assessment and communication skills are essential.
What You'll Need
- Current BLS-AHA and ACLS certifications (required at hire)
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience
- Proficiency with the facility's electronic health record system
- Ability to pass a competency assessment on day one (one attempt)
- Completion of required onboarding modules during orientation
- Willingness to float to other units as operational needs arise
Contract Details
- Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly (excludes on-call)
- Duration: 13 weeks
