Med/Surg Step-Down RN — Night Shift | Keene, NH | 13-Week Contract
This step-down unit serves an adult and geriatric patient population, providing comprehensive nursing care across Med/Surg and step-down acuity levels. You'll coordinate total patient care, support patient and family education, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to uphold professional nursing standards.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour nights
- 48-hour weekly guarantee
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
- Mandatory coverage for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holiday blocks (including surrounding weekends)
- Block scheduling is not available for this assignment
Float Requirement
This position may float to a sister unit as needed.
Required Experience & Certifications
- 2+ years of Med/Surg experience
- Cardiac drip management experience (must be noted on profile)
- Dementia/behavioral management experience
- Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license
- AHA BLS (required)
- AHA ACLS (required)
- NIH Stroke Certification (required)
Additional Requirements
- Personal vehicle required — this community does not have public transportation
- All requested time off (maximum 5 days) must be submitted at the time of application; requests after submission will not be approved
- Scrubs: professional, traveler-provided, no logos
- Non-local candidates only (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
- New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License must accompany submission
