This night-shift opportunity places you in an acute care Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit, caring for a diverse patient population across varying acuity levels. Candidates must be willing to float to other units and hospital locations as needed.
Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Hours per week: 36 or 48 (36 guaranteed)
- Contract length: 10 weeks
- Weekends: Every other weekend required
- Holidays: Required as scheduled
Clinical Scope
- Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patient care in an acute care setting
- Float capability to other units and facilities required
- Patient-facing, in-person role
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing (minimum)
- Active RN license — Alabama or Compact state (no temporary licenses accepted)
- AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience; 18 months may be considered if working under the highest level of professional licensure with at least 1 year of recent specialty experience
Preferred Certifications
- ACLS
