Contract RN – Labor and Delivery
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced RN for a 13-week contract in Labor and Delivery. You'll work the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with no on-call requirements. Four weekend shifts per scheduling period are required.
About the Unit
The unit serves patients with high-risk obstetrical conditions, including placenta accreta spectrum disorders and trauma-related injuries. You'll collaborate with an engaged physician team and experienced nursing staff across all shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in high-risk obstetrics
- Current Advanced EFM certification
Preferred Experience
- High-risk OB including massive transfusion management
- Familiarity with placenta accreta spectrum disorders
