Medical-Surgical Charge Nurse – 13-Week Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Med-Surg Charge Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work a day shift schedule and assume charge responsibilities as needed.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Monday start dates available
- Navy blue scrubs required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit
- Assume charge nurse duties when assigned
- Manage wound care and post-operative patients
- Administer and monitor PCA and epidural pain management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (GA or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience
- Surgical nursing background
- Demonstrated wound care competency
- PCA/Epidural administration experience
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
Assignment Details
- Location: Atlanta, GA
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- 50-mile radius required (relocation candidates only)
- Guaranteed hours within contract period
