Medical Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift | Milton, MA

13-Week Contract | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 72 Hours Guaranteed Biweekly

This Medical Surgical Telemetry unit cares for a diverse mix of post-surgical and medical overflow patients in a fast-paced, acute care setting. RNs are expected to independently read and interpret telemetry strips — no tele techs are on unit.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend required
• Float between all Med/Surg Telemetry units as needed
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current Massachusetts RN licensure required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS required

Pre-Acceptance Testing — Important

Candidates must complete two assessments via Zoom prior to acceptance:

• Dysrhythmia test (20 questions)
• Medication test (20 questions)
• Passing score: 85% — one attempt only, no remediation or re-sit
• Testing must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation
• A study guide with preparation tips will be provided

Additional Requirements

• Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions accepted
• Massachusetts RN license required at submission
• Electronic health record experience required
