Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Milton, MA

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: October 27, 2026

Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required

Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)

This Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit cares for a diverse surgical patient population with overflow of medical patients. RNs function independently in telemetry monitoring — there are no telemetry techs on this unit, so all nurses are responsible for reading and interpreting their own rhythm strips.

Floating: May float between Med-Surg Telemetry units as needed.

Pre-Acceptance Testing (Required):

• Dysrhythmia test (20 questions) and Medication test (20 questions)
• Passing score: 85% — one attempt only; no remediation or re-sit
• Tests administered via Zoom within 48 hours of confirmation
• A study guide with tips will be provided — candidates are strongly encouraged to prepare in advance

Required Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Additional Notes:

• Candidates must have been separated from this health system for 6+ months and be in good standing to be considered
• Contract length: 91 weeks of total availability within the system; individual assignment is 13 weeks
