Registered Nurse – Adolescent Behavioral Health
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its inpatient adolescent behavioral health unit serving patients ages 6–18. You'll work as part of an interdisciplinary team delivering direct and indirect patient care in a structured, supportive environment.
Clinical Focus
The unit specializes in treating major depression and ADD/ADHD in children and adolescents. Your responsibilities will include medication administration and patient education, daily documentation of care, behavioral monitoring and management, and facilitating therapeutic education groups.
Schedule & Contract
- 3x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 13-week contract
- Float availability to Chemical Dependency/Detox required
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Valid State of Maine RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience (adult care experience preferred)
- CPI certification

Additional Notes
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
