Telemetry Nurse – Atlanta, GA
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry Nurse to join its observation unit on day shifts. You'll provide skilled cardiac monitoring and management for patients requiring continuous telemetry surveillance.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (AM shifts)
- Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
Requirements
- Current Georgia or compact nursing license
- Minimum 18 months of telemetry experience
- Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Ability to recognize and respond to cardiac rhythm changes
- Experience managing non-cardiac drips (heparin, insulin, and similar infusions)
Clinical Scope
You'll monitor patients on continuous cardiac telemetry, interpret rhythms, communicate findings to providers, and manage medication infusions in a structured observation setting. This role requires strong assessment skills and the ability to identify acute changes in patient status.
What We're Looking For
A detail-oriented, proactive nurse with solid telemetry fundamentals and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced unit. You should be comfortable with rhythm recognition and comfortable managing routine medication infusions.
