Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Travel Nurse
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced PCU nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll provide care to progressive care patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and intervention.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Pattern: Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Guaranteed hours throughout the contract
- All time off must be requested upfront
Assignment Details
You'll primarily work at the main facility location. If census allows, you may float to a nearby facility within your specialty to support patient care needs. You'll receive advance notice of your work location before each shift.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia)
- PCU or step-down nursing experience
- Ability to work the posted AM shift schedule
- Willingness to float within specialty as needed
- Must be willing to relocate; local travelers within a 50-mile radius are not considered
What to Expect
This is a dedicated PCU role focused on patients transitioning from acute to lower-acuity care. Your clinical skills in monitoring, medication administration, and patient education will be essential.
