Med/Surg Telemetry RN – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Cleveland, OH. You'll provide direct patient care in a stepdown unit, managing post-acute and intermediate-acuity patients requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry oversight.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 07:00–19:30 | Night: 19:00–07:30)
• Shifts may rotate based on operational needs; the facility will make efforts to honor your preferred schedule
• Mandatory holiday coverage: At least every other holiday
• Float potential: You may float to related units to support the same patient population

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 12 months permanent RN experience in med/surg or telemetry
• License: Current Permanent Ohio license or Compact State license in hand at submission
• Certifications (active & current):
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• References: One manager, ANM, supervisor, or director reference required (from past 12 months; supervisor references only—no peer references)

During Orientation

You'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment. Both require passing scores to remain on assignment (2 attempts maximum).

Compliance

• Valid background check; no open cases or license hits
• BCI/FBI clearance completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Required drug screen and vaccinations (COVID-19, flu; medical/religious exemptions available)

Contract Terms

Extensions available up to 18 months; 6-month break required thereafter.
