Medical/Surgical RN – Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility seeks a Medical/Surgical RN to deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-centered care on the day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment and direct care to a medical/surgical patient population
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and document thoroughly using facility systems
- Function independently while exercising sound clinical judgment
- Respond rapidly and efficiently during emergency situations
- Maintain strict confidentiality and support the facility's mission and values
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (Maine)
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to remain calm and responsive in high-pressure situations
