Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Position Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- Schedule: 40 hours guaranteed per week
- Contract Duration: 35 weeks
- Call/Weekend: No call; no weekends
About the Role
The Department of Radiology provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging services 24/7, including diagnostic radiography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, interventional radiography, MRI, bone density studies, and mammography. You'll work within this consultative service supporting inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients of all ages.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you'll perform diagnostic procedures, maintain quality control protocols, ensure radiation safety for patients and staff, and collaborate with licensed radiologists and imaging technologists.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years current Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a hospital setting
- Active ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification
- Venipuncture experience required
- Active American Heart Association BLS
- Travel experience highly preferred
