Position Details
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (days)
- Schedule: Alternating weekends; no call requirement
- Location: Austin, TX
About the Role
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of nursing experience in labor and delivery
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Demonstrated competency in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
- SVE (sterile vaginal exam) competency
- C-section circulation experience
Preferred Skills
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Experience in high-volume obstetric units
Unit Environment
You'll work with a collaborative team in a high-volume labor and delivery setting. The unit uses modern fetal monitoring and obstetric equipment to support safe patient care. A positive attitude and strong teamwork are essential to success here.
Dress Code
Navy blue scrubs required. Solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only; t-shirts are not acceptable.
